Since 2012, for students who want to work in the local authority and who come, among others, from the region of the Balkans, the Union of Municipalities of Turkey (TBB) is organizing the "International Local Authorities Internship Program".

The program, which theoretically and practically explains the basic general principles of local authorities in the world and the structure of local authorities in our country, will be realized from August 21 to 31, 2016.

Final year university students or new graduates from the faculty of law, economics, engineering, architecture, urban planning, sociology, communications, information technology, political science, international relations and other related branches from Turkey and abroad can participate in the said program. Students who meet the said requirements, can find detailed information necessary for applying to the program on TBB's website www.tbb.gov.tr.
