Büyükelçinin Özgeçmişi
Ambassador Emin Akseki was born on 11 November 1979 in Edremit.
He graduated from the Faculty of Political Science at Ankara University in 2001 with a degree in International Relations and obtained his master’s degree in the same field from the Middle East Technical University.
Since joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2005, Ambassador Akseki has served at the Ministry’s headquarters in the Council of Europe Department, the Coordination Office for İzmir’s EXPO 2015 Candidacy, Overseas Promotion Department, and the Department of Maritime Affairs.
He held the position of Deputy Chief of Cabinet to the President of the Republic of Türkiye during two separate terms, from September 2014 to December 2017 and from January 2022 to April 2025.
His overseas assignments include postings at the Embassy of Türkiye in Muscat, the Consulate General of Türkiye in Sydney, and the Embassy of Türkiye in Washington, D.C.
Ambassador Akseki assumed his duties in Bosnia and Herzegovina on 29 April 2025. He is married and has one daughter.
