We welcome the resolution adopted as a result of the voting that took place at the United Nations General Assembly yesterday (September 10) to hoist the flag of the State of Palestine at United Nations Headquarters in New York City and at its other offices alongside those of the member States’.

This resolution constitutes an important step for the recognition of the State of Palestine by more states worldwide and for the goal of the realization of the Palestinian people’s aspiration to liberate themselves from the ongoing occupation as soon as possible and live freely in their own sovereign state within pre-1967 borders with its capital in East Jerusalem.
