We have learned with great sorrow the passing of one of our nationals, Sadettin Doğan, working in a Turkish firm providing security services in Mogadishu Airport following the armed attack perpetrated against his vehicle today (May 27, 2014). We wish God's mercy upon the deceased, express our condolences and wish fortitude to his relatives.

We strongly condemn this heinous attack.

We expect Somali authorities to urgently and earnestly investigate and shed light on this attack and to bring the perpetrators of this terrorist act to justice.
